Session Fee
The standard fee is $200 per 45 minute individual session, $280 per 60 minute couples session, and $80 per 90 minute group session. Payment is due after each session.
It may be possible for clients to receive reimbursement for sessions with me as an out-of-network provider. Out-of-network usually has a deductible (a certain amount that clients must pay out of pocket before the insurance company will start to cover fees) and then covers services at a percentage. When seen out-of-network, I complete the necessary documentation for clients to pursue reimbursement directly from their insurance provider.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
I understand that life is complicated and that appointments sometimes have to be rescheduled or cancelled. Having said that, counseling works best when appointments are predictable for both sides, so I will do my very best not to move appointments or cancel them, and hope that you will do the same.
Request to Reschedule: If you cannot make an appointment, but we are able to reschedule to a time before your next appointment, there will be no charge.
Cancellation Within 24 Hours: If you cancel your appointment without rescheduling then your fee for that session is payable, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Cancellation With More Than 24 Hours Notice: If you need to cancel a session, please try to reschedule it. If multiple sessions are cancelled and not rescheduled, you and I will discuss whether counseling is a priority for you, and whether it makes sense to reduce the frequency or stop meeting entirely.
No Show: If you do not notify me that you cannot make your appointment, the fee for that session is payable.
Lateness: If you are more than 15min late to session and have not contacted me, the session will be cancelled and the fee for the session is payable.
